The Internet may yet redeem itself

This was heralded as the End of the Internet.

This story might just save it.

I do not understand the meaning of the first link whatsoever, nor further why it would be considered a fitting conclusion to the Internet, even ironically.

(Thoughtful 15 second pause.)

Hmmm... does the video actually achieve some purpose if one considers my immediate reaction as doubly ironic?

Post-structuralism sucks.

I think the first video is more a commentary on how the vast potential of the Internet has been reduced to people dry humping an ottoman as an end result.

'Fitting conclusion to the Internet' was not my sentiment, even though that's what the linked post said. My sentiment was more of the 'If this is the crap that is allowed to exist on the Internet, then please shut it down'.

The term post-structuralism has just put me into the fetal position. Please don't ever use it again.
