More Science

Eden and Evolution: the Intelligent Design debate continues, for reasons beyond my sanity. (The whole class discussion part seems staged to me...)

The Deutsch Factor: Why is ANYTHING that NASA is involved in being considered a religious issue?

There's been an intelligent design thread on at another website I read & I cannot believe the number of people who believe ID is a science.

There is nothing about ID that resembles science, which is why it's relegated to the realm of conjecture & religion. Maybe it's not quite religion either, but it's a lot closer to religion than it is to science.

If you haven't heard of this & want a laugh, check out this wikipedia entry on Flying Spaghetti Monster-ism. Almost makes me want to be more religious.

It's truly a surprise how many people believe ID as a science...just shocked and appalled as a science student.

I'm a huge believer in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It flies over my house every night to give me gifts of...umm...spaghetti...
