mediascapes

THIS is one possible glimpse into the future of media. The production on its own was quite enjoyable. I'll have to think about it more before I comment

Update 1:35 AM

On an unrelated link, check out Keyhole. This kind of detailed digital mapping solution just gets the nerd in me all excited. And as Matt points out, it makes me wonder about the true capabilities of the CIA and other intelligence agencies.

I was thinking about it a little more and it occurred to me that the quality of the pictures may not be that far behind what the CIA has available. I imagine however the control comes in what pictures are available on-line. For example, you may be able to find a picture taken last week of your own house, but I doubt you can get access to pictures taken 2 minutes ago of Russian missile silos.
